Dawson Die Head Helps Colombia Customer Build IBC Production Line

Zhangjiagang Dawson Machine Group is a professional supplier of extrusion blowing project in China. We help customer build, optimize their production line, for multiple bottle & containers, including shampoo bottles, detergent bottles, lubricate oil bottles, chemical jerrycan, drums, floaters, water tanks, IBC tanks & frame.

In 2022, a Colombian customer consulted about machine modification for the first time. Due to limited funds, the customer bought a second-hand blow molding machine locally. The old machine had many problems, the line was too old, the mechanical structure was worn, and the motor needed urgent maintenance... They urgently needed a blow molding expert to provide them with advice and services.

After careful and sufficient communication, we learned that the customer wanted to use this machine to produce IBC 1000L chemical barrels. Due to the large size, weight and high quality requirements of IBC barrels, the customer's machine is not suitable for such a large product, the extrusion volume is seriously insufficient, and the die design does not meet the production requirements. In the end, we suggested that he buy a new die.

The customer followed our advice and ordered a 45L die from us. In 2023, we successfully delivered the die and assisted the customer in installing it.

The machine progressed smoothly, and the customer ordered another IBC mold from us. This year, the customer has successfully achieved mass production of IBC barrels. In 2025, we will continue to work together to further develop the ton barrel project, launch various models of products to the market, and fill the gap in the Colombian market.
